In grand but certainly not stuffy style, The Pittsburgh is proud to celebrate its 100th birthday and its newly restored architectural profile.
Built in 1907 to house some of the adventurers who flocked to Seattle after the Klondike gold rush, the Queen Anne property fell on hard times. Fortunately, most stories have a silver lining: almost all the original decorative features remain intact.
Today, The Pittsburgh's four buildings stand strong once again. The ornate tradesman-crafted exterior features Juliet balconies carved from stone, impressive archways, and ironwork from another era. Inside each home, restoration of casework, fireplaces, and bay windows is complemented by fresh color, materials, and system upgrades.
